Online Helicopter Booking Service For Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Launched: J&K LG Manoj Sinha
Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, unveiled an online helicopter booking platform for the Amarnath yatra on June 16. "For the first time, devotees can travel with ease directly from Srinagar to Panchtarni and complete the holy yatra in a single day," tweeted LG Sinha. Annual yatra will commence from June 30 and end on August 11. The pilgrimage is likely to attract more than 10 lakh people.

9 Corpses Retrieved From Jammu Tunnel Collapse; Rescue Operation Ongoing
Nine corpses have been found from the collapse of the Ramban Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir. A piece of an under-construction tunnel on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district collapsed on May 19. Five of the nine people killed were from West Bengal, one from Assam, two from Nepal, and two from Bangladesh. Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir is firsthand supervising the rescue operation.
