Nine corpses have been found from the collapse of the Ramban Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir. A piece of an under-construction tunnel on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district collapsed on May 19. Five of the nine people killed were from West Bengal, one from Assam, two from Nepal, and two from Bangladesh. Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir is firsthand supervising the rescue operation. 

As per reports, the annual 'Amarnath Yatra' pilgrimage will start on June 28, followed by its conclusion on August 22. Fully resumed after two years, the registrations will commence from April 1 through designated branches of Punjab National Bank, J&K Bank, and Yes Bank across the country.
