Union Govt Asks State Governments To Ready For COVID-19 Wave
Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Home Minister, chaired a meeting with the concerned officials, amid the rising number of COVID-19. During the high level meeting, the Union Minister asked the state governments to conduct mock drilling at the hospitals and be battle ready for the next wave of the Novel Coronavirus. In 24-hours India registered 6,050 new cases of Covid-19, highest in the past 203 cases.

Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Adopts 40 TB Patients On Occasion Of PM Modi’s B’Day
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has reportedly adopted 40 patients of Tuberculosis, on the occasion of PM Modi’s 72nd birthday, on September 17. He stated that the patients were from his birthplace of Palitana in Gujarat, and encouraged public participation in building a “TB-free India”. Mandaviya also participated in a blood donation camp as part of Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav, at Delhi’s Safdarjung.

Experts Studying India's Covid Management: Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that experts from around the world are studying India's management of Covid-19 and the vaccination drive. While inaugurating the 14th conference of the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare, he noted, "India is a big country of 1.3 billion population with huge diversity." He stressed that it is a big accomplishment to get 97.5% of the population to take the first dose.

Over 50 Lakh Children In 12-14 Age Group Recieve First Jab: Covid-19
Over 50 lakh children aged between 12-14 years received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, till March 23, as informed by Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. In addition, India’s COVID-19 vaccination drive has covered more than 181 crore individuals. Notably, the vaccination drive for the age group of 12 to 14 years against COVID-19 started with the Corbevax vaccine on March 16.

NEET-PG Counselling To Begin From Jan 12, Tweets Minister Mandaviya
The Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, on January 9, announced NEET-PG Counselling from January 12. "NEEG-PG Counselling is being started by MCC from January 12, following the orders of hon'ble Supreme Court," said Mandaviya in a tweet. Notably, SC ordered to conduct NEET-PG Counselling soon, after hearing a plea of FRDA over the delay. The counselling will include 27% OBC and 10% EWS reservations in India.
