Zerund Manufacturing Private Limited, Rejected 30 Times, Now Worth Rs 40 Crores

David Gogoi and his two pals, Mausam Taluqdaar and Rupam Chowdhary, founded Zerund Manufacturing Private Limited after being denied 30 times. They began with a mere Rs 20 lakh four years ago and have now risen to a valuation of Rs 40 crore. They planned to create an eco-friendly brick out of waste materials. It is 15% less expensive than normal brick and keeps the house cool.

India Appears 2nd In Global Manufacturing Risk Index

According to real estate consultant Cushman & Wakefield, India has overtaken United States and has taken the second spot after manufacturing destination globally. China still remains at the number one spot and US is on third. Notably, US was on second position last year. However, the consultants stated that manufacturers have shown much interest in India as compared to other countries.
