A member of prohibited CPI-Maoist Prasant Majhi, with his five associates, have been arrested by the Jharkhand Police near Khukhra police station. Odisha Forces Kill 2 Maoists In Encounter; Seizes Rifles
In Odisha's Malkangiri district, police have killed two Maoists including a female in the wee hours of December 13. The police have revealed that Maoists opened fire on the Special Operations Group and District Voluntary Forces which were on routine exercise in Gajalmamudi village. The police had killed them in retaliation and have recovered one INSAS rifle, one SLR rifle, bullets, Maoists literature and kit bags from the encounter site.

Bihar: 3 Maoists Killed In Anti-Naxal Operation By CRPF's CoBRA
In an anti-Naxal operation by CRPF unit named 'CoBRA', three Maoists, including zonal commander Alok Yadav, have been killed in Bihar's Gaya district. The unit also recovered two rifles - an AK series and an INSAS. About 100 km from Bihar, the encounter occurred in the Barachatti forest area during the early hours of November 22. The bodies of the Maoists have been recovered from the encounter spot.

Chhattisgarh Police Arrest 6 Maoists Including 1 Woman
Chhattisgarh Police on November 9 informed that they had arrested 6 Maoists, including a woman, in Damavaram and Basaguda area. Maoists Attack Workers After The Owner Denies Extortion: Jharkhand

Chhattisgarh: Village Sarpanch's Husband Allegedly Killed by Maoists
The husband of Karhi village’s sarpanch in Chhattisgarh’s Dhamtari district was killed by Maoists on November 3. The victim, identified as Niresh Kumar Kunjam (35), was allegedly suspected of being a police informer. Chhattisgarh: Maoists Trigger IED Blast; One ITBP Personnel Injured
Targetting a team of ITBP personnel, Maoists triggered an IED blast on October 30 in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district. The blast has also inflicted injuries to Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Constable, Ajit Kumar. Reportedly, the blast happened near Kohkameta Police Station when the ITBP team was cordoning a forest route between Kohkameta and Irakbhatti. The injured police is under treatment and is said to be out of danger.
