Unopened Copy of Super Mario Game Auctioned at $6,60,000
A 35-year-old unopened copy of Nintendo's Super Mario Bros clocked a price tag of whopping $6,60,000 in a recently held auction in Dallas by Heritage Auctions. Interestingly, it was bought as a Christmas gift in 1986, the owner left it in a drawer and forgot about it. The game was recovered from an unattended drawer until 2021. The same version of the game was sold at $ 114,000 last year.
