Elon Musk Led SpaceX To Test Super Heavy Rocket Launch

Weeks after SpaceX fired all the engines to test the Starship launch vehicle, the Elon Musk-led company is ready to conduct the maiden orbital flight of the Super Heavy spacecraft. The Starship Super Heavy rocket launch test is expected to be held next week, confirmed sources. The details were revealed in a planning notice posted by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA,) confirmed the launch date to be April 10.

NASA Shares Mars Mission Data With Countries To Avoid Collision

NASA has shared the data of its Mars mission to India, China, UAE and the European Space Agency to avoid the collision of spacecraft in the Mars orbit. Reportedly, the data was shared to ensure the safety of the Perseverance spacecraft from getting crashed with spacecraft of other countries in the martin orbit. Notably, ISRO's Mangalyaan, China's Taiwan-1, UAE's Hope and two other spacecraft from the ESA are hovering the red planet.

NASA's Perseverance Rover Begins Mars Exploration

NASA's Perseverance rover, which is set out to find signs of ancient microbial life on Mars, has begun exploration on the red planet. In its first test drive, the rover went forward 13 feet, took a 150-degree left turn, then backed up 8 feet in its 33-minute movement. After the performance, a NASA engineer said, "We are now confident our drive system is good to go".

UAE's 'Al-Amal' Enters Mars Orbit; Becomes 5th Nation To Feat

Becoming first for the Arab world, UAE's spacecraft ‘Al-Amal’ (meaning 'Hope' in English) entered the Mars orbit on February 9 after seven months of launch. Interestingly, the UAE became the only fifth nation, after the US, Soviet Union, Europe and India, to successfully reach Mars orbit. Launched from Japan’s Tanegahima Space Centre on July 20, 2020, the mission will probe how neutral atoms of hydrogen and oxygen leak into space.
