Chris Hemsworth has confirmed that the shooting of his movie 'Thor: Love and Thunder' is set to start from January 2021. The shoot had come to a standstill owing to the pandemic. The actor also opined that people were expecting a "dramatic change" in the movie and added that Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson are a part of the cast. Reportedly, the movie is scheduled for a February, 2022 release.

Marvel Studios has signed newcomer Iman Vellani to play the lead in Disney+ series, Ms Marvel, which was announced in 2019 D23 Expo. Ms Marvel, aka Kamala Khan, is a Pakistani-American teenager who first appeared in the Comics in 2014. The web-series will be directed by Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and Meera Menon. Marvel chief, Kevin Feige, has hinted that she might appear in Marvel movies also.

Marvel Studios on its YouTube channel released the trailer of new series 'WandaVision'. Black Widow, one of the most anticipated Marvel superhero films of the year which was set to release on November 6, but according to the reports, it has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. Recently, Warner Bros Studios also postponed the release of 'Wonder Woman 1984' to late December. Though 70% of the theatres are open in the US, but facing difficulties to attract the audience.
