No Face Mask Required For Fully Vaccinated People In US: CDC

US’ Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has announced that fully vaccinated people don't require face masks anymore at both indoors and outdoors. Initiating the pre-pandemic life in the US, POTUS Joe Biden said that this has been possible because of vaccinating the Americans quickly. So far, the US has given 250 million vaccine shots in 114 days. CDC also issued guidelines on traveling and the workplace.

Car Drivers Travelling Alone Should Also Wear Masks: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court, on April 7, mandated the use of a mask for people even while travelling alone. The court, while listening to petitions filed for collecting fines for not wearing masks, added that the contagious virus can spread even when the car stops at the signal. Citing that a car is a public place, HC Judge Pratibha M Singh said, "This is least one can do."

Spot Fines To Be Imposed At Airports For Flyer's Not Wearing Masks

Amid the second wave of COVID-19, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has urged airports to tighten COVID-19 surveillance protocols. Reportedly, the authorities have advised airports to enforce stricter actions like imposing a heavy fine on travellers not wearing a mask or violating social distancing norms. Earlier, the DGCA had announced that passengers not wearing masks will be de-boarded from the flights.

Use of face masks at indoor gyms and during the workout limits the chances of COVID-19 contraction, as suggested by a European Respiratory Journal's study. Maharashtra CM Thackrey Declares Masks Compulsory For 6 Months

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on November 28 announced to bring the RT-PCR test cost in private labs down to Rs 800 from Rs 4,000. While making the announcement, he digitally inaugurated several COVID treatment-related facilities including testing labs in various districts and 70-bed COVID ICU at RUHS Jaipur. Govt School Students In Bengal To Get Masks From Handloom Weavers Society

The co-operative society of handloom weavers, Tantuja, has decided to provide almost 1.5 crore masks to government school students in West Bengal.
