No Tomatoes In Burgers Of McDonald's, Skyrocketing Prices To Be Blamed

Worried about the skyrocketing prices of vegetables, especially tomatoes many outlets of McDonald's dropped tomatoes and the veggie from their burger menus.  The rising prices now forced big outlets of McDonald's and Burger King to not serve the item to their customers. One outlet shared a notice, "For the time being, we are forced to serve you products without tomatoes. We are working to get the tomato supplies back."

Chinese McDonald's Introduces Coriander Sundae With Bright Green Coriander Sauce

McDonald's in China has come up with a bizarre dish and launched 'Coriander Sundae'. Reportedly, this ice cream known as "Cilantro Sundae" was launched on February 21 until February 25. Twitter user Daniel Ahmad posted a picture showing ice cream topped with a bright green coriander sauce and chopped coriander. Some of the Netizens find it amazing, and some find it disgusting. Earlier, McDonald's launched oreo and spam burgers.

Higher Menu Prices Increased Overall Revenue: McDonald's

McDonald's Corporation on October 27, reported that their overall revenue increased to 22% as compared to the previous year before the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to increase its revenue after pandemic, the burger giant had to make changes and increase its per product pricing in the menu roughly to 6%. The decision boosted the company in its international business, rising to $2.15 billion in revenue.

McDonald's in China has introduced a weird burger made of spam topped with crushed Oreo cookies and mayonnaise. The McDonalds said the new burger is a part of ist promotions and is planning to sell about 400,000 units. A mocking comment on Chinese microblogging site Sina Weibo read that, “When you hate someone but have to invite him to dinner, you can ask him to eat McDonald’s Oreo lunchmeat burger.”

McDonald's Launches 'McPlant' Targeting Vegan Customers

To attract vegan customers, McDonald's has decided to launch plant-based burgers, named as 'McPlant'. The company stated that it “is crafted exclusively for McDonald's by McDonald's.” Though the company considered it as an innovative launch, customers showed mixed emotions. One customer stated it was the laziest name for a plant-based product. Reportedly, the product's success in Canada has compelled the company to go for a global launch.

Burger King's Tweet Urging Customers to Spend on KFC, McDonald’s Goes Viral

A U.K. based branch of Burger King recently posted a tweet urging it's customers to buy food from it's rival food chains, KFC and McDonald’s. The tweet came out in support of the numerous food chains and their employees facing trouble during the pandemic. “Never thought we'd be asking you to do this,” wrote Burger King. This tweet caused a stir on social media among fans who were surprised to see the gesture.
