NCB Seizes MD Drugs Worth Rs 120 Crore; 6 Arrested
In a major drug bust in Gujarat and Mumbai, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized MD drugs estimated to be worth Rs 120 crore, informed officials, on October 7. With this, six persons were also arrested, including two suspected drug kingpins. A total of 50kgs of drugs were recovered, which were concealed in a godown in Mumbai. In Gujarat, a total of 10.350 Kg was recovered.

Anti Narcotics Cell Arrests Drug Peddler In Mumbai
In Mumbai's Mazgaon area, the Mumbai Anti Narcotics Cell, Ghatkopar unit, arrested a drug peddler on February 16. The Narcotics cell seized MD drugs worth Rs 6.75 lakh. "The accused had come from Dongri area to supply drugs to Mazgaon," said senior officials. The international market value of MD drugs is worth Rs 6.75 lakh. Meanwhile, a case has been registered under the NDPS Act, 1985, further investigation is underway.
