Manika, Sathiyan & Sharath Secure 2 Medals At WTT Contender Doha 2022

India's Achanta Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra, G Sathiyan's secured bronze & silver medals, respectively at World Table Tennis (WTT) Contender 2022. Held at Lusail Sports Arena in Doha, Qatar, the Indian athletes two medals for India. While Manika and Sathiyan played in mixed doubles, Achanta Sharath Kamal secured bronze in men's singles.  Notably, in the two matches, Indian players lost against Chinese players.

India To Bring 15 Medals & 5 Golds From Tokyo Paralympics: Gursharan Singh

India will perform its best in Tokyo Paralympics, aiming to bring at least 15 medals and five gold medals, said India’s Chef-de-Mission Gursharan Singh. India has already bagged 12 medals and four gold medals so far. Reportedly, India has featured the largest chance of introducing 54 athletes in nine different sports namely Para Archery, Para Athletics, Para Badminton, and others. India is having medal hopes from Para Javelin throwers.
