Car Accident Kills 7 Medical Students, PM Announces Ex Gratia: Maharashtra
Seven medical students, including BJP MLA son Avishkar Rahangdale died in a car accident, on January 24. PM Narendra Modi expressed his condolences and announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each and Rs 50,000 for injured from the PMNRF. Furthermore, Wardha SP Prashant Holkar said while passing through Selsura a wild animal appeared in front of the car and to avoid hurting him, the students had an accident.

17 Booked For Ragging Minor Boy At Medical College Hostel: Mumbai
A 24-year-old medical student in Mumbai has registered a case against 17 students for allegedly ragging and passing casteist remarks. However, the Occupational Therapy student at GS Medical College and KEM Hospital filed the case against several students including his roommates. Moreover, the victim was being harassed for the last three years and the FIR has been registered under the Maharashtra Anti-Ragging Act and IPC.

Assam Medical College Gets Approval To Offer DM, MCH Courses
As good news for medical students of Assam, National Medical Commission approved Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirugiae (MCH) courses in Assam Medical College for 2021-22. Reportedly, AMC will now have 3 seats in DM cardiology and 2 seats in MCH paediatric surgery. ''We shall continue to work on strengthening medical education,'' tweeted Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam.

Govt To Incentivize MBBS Students, Pass-Outs On COVID Duty With Jobs
The central government has planned to incentivize medical students and MBBS pass-outs, involved in COVID-19 duty, with government jobs and monetary assistance.
