2 Wimbledon Matches Being Probed Over Possible Match-Fixing

Two matches at Wimbledon 2021 are being questioned for possible match-fixing following irregular betting patterns. Several betting firms complained of abnormal bets on the first round of men's singles and doubles matches. Although, the exact details of the bets are still uncertain. The International Tennis Integrity Agency, which is investigating the cases, clarified that there were 11 match alerts between April to June this year.

Italian Open: Bopanna-Shapovalov Lose Quarterfinals Against French Pair

The Indian-Canadian pair, Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov, were defeated in the quarterfinals of Italian Open men's doubles in Foro Italico. They lost with a score of 6-4, 5-7, 7-10 in the tie-breaker on September 18. The duo gave a tough fight to the French pair, Jeremy Chardy and Fabrice Martin.
