2 Wimbledon Matches Being Probed Over Possible Match-Fixing
Two matches at Wimbledon 2021 are being questioned for possible match-fixing following irregular betting patterns. Several betting firms complained of abnormal bets on the first round of men's singles and doubles matches. Although, the exact details of the bets are still uncertain. The International Tennis Integrity Agency, which is investigating the cases, clarified that there were 11 match alerts between April to June this year.

Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies, the all-German team, captured the French Open Men's Doubles crown for the second time consequently after a 6-3, 7-5 win over Croatian Mate Pavic and Brazilian Bruno Soares. Italian Open: Bopanna-Shapovalov Lose Quarterfinals Against French Pair
The Indian-Canadian pair, Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov, were defeated in the quarterfinals of Italian Open men's doubles in Foro Italico. They lost with a score of 6-4, 5-7, 7-10 in the tie-breaker on September 18. The duo gave a tough fight to the French pair, Jeremy Chardy and Fabrice Martin. Bopanna-Shapovalov pair had recently made a reach to the US Open Quarterfinals held earlier this month.
