Elon Musk Cites Indian Government In Response To Twitter's Lawsuit
In his answer to Twitter's complaint, Elon Musk invoked the Indian government. Musk stated in court that the corporation failed to disclose that it had launched a "risky" lawsuit against the government of Twitter's third-largest market. Twitter is appealing the Indian government's ruling in the Karnataka High Court, claiming that if they comply with the order to restrict material, their India company would be shut down.

Elon Musk's Decision To Terminate Merger Agreement Deemed 'Invalid & Wrongful' By Twitter
Twitter on July 11 formally responded to Elon Musk's letter on the termination of the $44 billion Twitter purchase. According to Twitter's counsel, William Savitt, the firm has not "breached" any of its "obligations under the Agreement." The letter also stated that Musk's request to cancel the proposed $44 billion transactions is "invalid and wrongful." According to Savitt, the arrangement is still in effect.

National Stock Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange Approve HDFC-Bank Merger Proposal
The National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange have authorized the proposed merger of HDFC Bank and its parent company HDFC, stating that they have "no objection," bringing the transaction one step closer to completion. According to the terms of the agreement, HDFC Ltd owners would get 42 HDFC Bank shares for every 25 HDFC Ltd shares owned. Existing HDFC Ltd. stockholders will hold 41% of HDFC Bank.

Twitter Board Endorses Elon Musk's $44 Billion Acquisition
Twitter's board has endorsed the $44 billion acquisition in a new regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) on June 21 as Tesla CEO Elon Musk resolves a few "unresolved matters" with Tesla. Twitter board stated, "unanimously recommends that you vote (for) the adoption of the merger agreement." Musk stated that he does not want to become CEO of Twitter and would instead focus on "driving the product."
