WhatsApp To Introduce Rich Link Previews For Text Status Updates
WhatsApp is experimenting with creating rich link previews when sharing a link to a text status update. This will help both the sender and the recipient to verify the previews before opening or reading the message. Testing is presently being done on iOS platform, but it may also be expanded to Android users. WhatsApp is also working on a new approach to disappearing messages, which will be released in future.
