Bombay HC Rejects Plea, Orders Jogeshwari Slum Residents To Evacuate For Metro Rail 6 Project

A petition filed by over 150 slum residents seeking a new survey of Project Affected Persons for Metro 6 project from Swami Samarth Nagar-JVLR-SEEPZ-Kanjurmarg-Vikhroli Metro Rail Corridor was denied by the Bombay High Court. Metro Rail Projects In Vijaywada And Vishakhapatnam gets Headway

The Vijaywada and Vishakhapatnam metro projects have undergone several changes in the past five years made by the TDP term and the YSCRP government. The metro will be 76.9 km long with the budget of Rs. 14,000 crores, excluding the land acquisition cost of Rs. 1240 crore. The made-up is broken into two phases each with a distance covering 38.74 km each.

PM Modi Inaugurates 9 Km Section Of Kanpur Metro Rail Project: Uttar Pradesh

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated awaited 9 km long section of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project, on December 28. Connecting IIT-Kanpur to Moti Jheel, the Kanpur metro project  (32.5 km long) has been constructed as per 'Green Building' idea worth Rs 11,000 crores. After inaugurating, PM Modi took the first metro ride from IIT-Kanpur to Geeta Nagar. He was accompanied by UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
