Microsoft Launches Outlook Lite App For Android Phones With Less RAM, Storage

Microsoft released Outlook Lite in a few markets. It is the "lite" variant of the main application for budget smartphones with minimal RAM and storage, but it may lack some functionality found in the main app. The software is compatible with Android handsets with 1GB of RAM. Users should be aware that the app, like the lite versions, are not accessible on iPhones.

After Microsoft Shuts Internet Explorer, Fan Makes Tombstone In Its Honor

Microsoft ended complete service of Internet Explorer on June 15, after 27 years. The browser was the first point of access to the internet. In South Korea, a fan, Jung Ki-young, created an Internet Explorer gravestone. He spent a month and 430,000 won ($330) creating and commissioning a gravestone with Explorer's "e" logo and the English epitaph: "He was a good tool to download other browsers" to mourn its demise.

Microsoft CEO's Son Zain Nadella Dies At 26; Microsoft Grieves Loss

Microsoft Corp. informed that Zain Nadella, son of CEO Satya Nadella and wife Anu, died on March 1. Zain Nadella was 26 years old and was born with cerebral palsy. The CEO emailed his executive staff about the death of Zain and asked them to hold him in their thoughts and prayers, and give them space to grieve their loss.
