Uttam Chitrakar Revolutionises Art With Gay Love & Transpersons
Uttam Chitrakar, an artist from West Bengal’s Midnapore has been revolutionising the street-side pat paintings of Kalighat. The 30-year-old has introduced queer and transpersons in a series of his new paintings which he made in partnership with art exposition The India Story’s co-founder Swarup Datta. Besides, the paintings will be a part of a folk and contemporary art show at Method Art Space in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda.

In Amit Shah's rally at poll-bound West Bengal's Egra on March 21, Suvendu Adhikari's father and senior Trinamool MP Sisir Adhikari joined the BJP. The 79-year-old MP from Kanthi asserts to have decamped to strive for shielding Midnapore's stature. "Save Bengal from atrocities, we are with you, our family is with you. Jai Siya Ram, Jai Bharat.", declared the freshly inducted patriarch of the Adhikari family.
