One of the nine arrested terrorists by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) last week has planned to set up a radical camps disguised as Madrasas. The police interrogation revealed that the terrorist, Al-Mamun Kamal, targetted thousands of migrant workers from whom he took donation of Rs 5 to Rs 10. Reportedly, he had also opened a private Madarasa at a village in Murshidabad.

Labour and Employment Minister Santosh Gangwar said that the Central government had taken "unprecedented steps" for labour-welfare and employment during the pandemic. He said, "About 2 crore migrant workers have been provided Rs 5,000 crore directly in their bank accounts."
