Mihaela Buzarnecu

Indian tennist Ankita Raina has become the third Indian woman to feature in the main draw of a Grand Slam. She paired up with Romania's Mihaela Buzarnecu and secured a direct entry for the women’s doubles at the Australian Open. Earlier, Sania Mirza and Nirupama Vaidyanathan were the Indian women who have played in the Grand Slam main draw. Reportedly, 2021's first Grand Slam will commence from February 8.
