Army Shuts Military Farms Spread Over 20,000 Acres After 132Yr Of Service
The Indian Army on March 31 closed all its military farms in the nation. Started by British Army, the farms that spread over 20,000-acre land provided cow milk to Army garrisons. After 132 years, the farms spread in cities including Prayagraj, Kolkata, Pathankot, Guwahati would be used for other purposes.
