Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot sacked minister Rajender Singh Gudha for his remarks against the Congress government, in terms of crime against women. Notably, during the assembly session, the Rajasthan Minister said, "The way atrocities against women have gone up in Rajasthan, we should introspect instead of raising the issue of Manipur." The remark came a day after PM Modi took a dig at Rajasthan Government, amid crimes against women.

The Union Ministry of Rural Development cautioned about "fraudulent" who are allegedly misleading people in the name of National Rural Development Mission, purportedly carrying out recruitment drives. After accepting Harsimrat Kaur Badal's resignation, President Ram Nath Kovind on September 18 appointed Union Minister Narendra Tomar to additionally take care of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Harsimrat Kaur has resigned after the Centre introduced three new farm bills in the Parliament lately.
