External Ministry Urge Israel Citizens To Leave Jordan, Egypt

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Israeli citizens leave Jordan and Egypt immediately, following the raising of the travel warning to level 4, the highest. "We ask the Israelis to leave Jordan and Egypt immediately and refrain from traveling to Morocco" - The Israeli National Security Council Sources. The statement came amid ongoing Israel-Palestine war and recent Gaza Attack, which alarmed concerns for people.

Rajasthan Minister Sacked For Comments Against Congress Govt Over Crimes Against Women

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot sacked minister Rajender Singh Gudha for his remarks against the Congress government, in terms of crime against women. Notably, during the assembly session, the Rajasthan Minister said, "The way atrocities against women have gone up in Rajasthan, we should introspect instead of raising the issue of Manipur." The remark came a day after PM Modi took a dig at Rajasthan Government, amid crimes against women.

Over 4 Lakh People Travel Domestic In 1 Day, India Creates Aviation History

The skyrocketing domestic airline traffic helped India to create a record, globally. As per media sources, India created a record of over 4 lakh passengers travelling via domestic flights, in just a day. Furthermore, the Aviation Ministry said, more than 37.5m passengers were carried by domestic airlines in just the first three months of 2023.  The data showed that a 51.7% growth compared to a year ago, in India.

Belgian Divorced Woman Challenges IPC section 7D To Avail OCI Benefits

The Centre reiterated to Delhi High Court that foreign Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders cannot avail its benefits, if divorced. However, a Belgian woman divorced to an Indian man challenged section 7D(f) which talks about foregoing of OCI status on divorce. Surprisingly, the lady became a beneficiary of OCI in 2017 even after getting divorced in 2011. Currently, the ministry has given her an adequate time to explain her stand.
