Ministry Of Education Issues Guidelines For Schools To Tackle Heatwave

To prevent the negative impacts of the heatwave, the Ministry of Education issued a list of measures for schools on May 11 in areas such as transportation, health, food, classroom, and uniform. The everyday routine, as well as the school schedule, must be altered. School hours might be shortened, and classes can begin as early as 7 a.m. Furthermore, the suggestion that the school assembly be shortened was also made.

4 Year ITEP To Be Offered By About 50 Institutes Across India

Delhi's Private School Can't Allow 'Unvaxxed' Teachers, Says DoE

In the latest circular, the directorate of education (DoE) has issued an order for all private schools to not allow any teachers and school staff to come to the school if they aren't fully vaccinated. The circular also prescribed the deadline for vaccination that is October 15, after that teachers' ''absence may be treated as on leave''. Notably, the same rule is also mandatory in government schools.

Central Govt Aims To Conduct CET For University Admissions 

Under the new National Education Policy, Ministry of Education has decided to conduct common entrance test such as JEE, and NEET for students to get admitted in various universities. However, the government is planning to conduct the test in July-August, and the test aims to provide admission in undergraduate for non-technical courses. Reportedly, the entrance test was delayed due to surge in COVID cases.

Education Ministry releases new academic calendar and a full refund will initiate on canceling admissions

Education Minister Approves, Complete Refund on Canceling Admissions

According to the revised academic calendar approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), classes for the first-year students will commence in November, and no new entries to be accepted after November 30. Institutions have been ordered to take classes, six days a week to cope with the lost learning hours. The Ministry of Education tweeted that a full refund will be provided upon canceling admissions or migration, till November 30.
