All Helmets To Mandatorily Have ISI Mark: Ministry Of Road Transport & Highways

According to Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) new regulations, all helmets must bear the ISI mark and must be correctly worn on the driver's head. Its strap must also be secured. In the helmet, a clear cover for the eyes should be worn. It should also have BIS accreditation. Your helmet may be seized if you are found using an unauthorized helmet and disobeying any of the rules.

Registration Renewal Fees For 15-Year-Old Vehicles Increase By 8 Times

As per the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Vehicle owners will have to shell out eight times more fees for the renewal of more than 15-year-old cars, from April 1, 2022. However, the new rules won't be applicable for vehicles registered in Delhi. Notably, renewing the 15-year-old car will cost Rs 5,000 while for two-wheelers, it is Rs 300 and imported cars would be for Rs 40,000.
