In another horrific incident, a six-year-old minor was raped in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Getting into the details, the incident occurred on September 28, when a 14-year-old minor boy, allegedly the neighbour of the victim raped the girl. ASP Lakhan Patle, who is investigating the case said, the minor accused has been produced before the Juvenile Justice Board and a case is registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC.)

In a shocking incident, a seven-year-old boy has been accused of sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl from his neighbourhood in Kanpur Dehat district. The incident happened in a village under the limits of Akbarpur police station of the district late on Sunday night, came to light after police lodged FIR under sections 376 of IPC and section 5/6 of the POCSO Act on the complaint of the girl’s mother.

A 17-year-old girl hanged herself in her house in a village here after a neighbour leaked her private photos online, police said on August 25. The girl hanged herself with a saree in a room in her house, situated in the Kaushambi. The victim's family went to the youth's house, complain against him for uploading the girl's photos online, but they were abused. A case is registered and investigation is underway.

A case of sexual assault and rape has been registered against Deputy Director of the Women & Child Development (WCD) Department. The accused allegedly raped14-year-old class XII student, after her father's demise. Not only the Deputy Director, but his wife has also been named in the POCSO case, for giving pills to the victim, terminating her pregnancy after sexual assaults. CM Arvind Kejriwal ordered a probe and suspended the officer.

In a horrific incident, three men allegedly sexually assaulted a minor girl, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The accused identified as Shakir along with his two friends made a video of the assault, which went viral. The Meerut police has arrested the three accused, whereas a fourth accused in the matter is still absconding. All the accused have been booked under several IPC sections and the POCSO Act.
