Peon Rapes 5 Year Old In School Premises, Arrested: Mumbai
In Mumbai, a case of sexual assault and rape of a minor girl (5) was registered with the City Police. On May 24, police arrested a peon (51) of a school for committing a heinous crime in school premises. Notably, the accused lured the girl with chocolate, took her to a room, and committed the crime. The police has registered a case under relevant section and launched an investigation.

Private Tutor Kidnaps Minor, Arrested In Faridabad: Maharashtra Police
A tuition teacher has been arrested in Faridabad, for allegedly kidnapping a 13-year-old girl, confirmed police on May 23. Hailed from Maharashtra, the tuition teacher and the girl went missing on May 1, following which the victim's family filed an FIR. As per the report, the accused's mobile number was tracked in Faridabad, and was later arrested the accused and rescued the girl. A case has been registered for investigation.

Minor Gang Raped, Case Registered Against 6 Including SHO In UP
In Uttar Pradesh's Lalitpur district, six people including a station house officer (SHO) allegedly gang-raped a 13-year-old minor. Notably, four youths kidnapped the girl and took her to Bhopal, where she was raped, but she escaped and went to the police, where the SHO also assaulted her before handing her to Child Welfare Committee. On May 4,a case has been registered against the accused and an investigation is underway.

3 Year Old Allegedly Raped And Dumped In Well: Rajasthan
In Rajasthan's Chittorgarh, a 3-year-old girl was allegedly raped and was dumped in a well, confirmed police on April 23. The horrific incident happened on April 20, when accused Ramesh Dhakad (30) who was playing with the girl abducted her. Later, on April 22, the police who was on search amid a missing report found her body in the well. The police launched an investigation and waiting for postmortem report.

Brother-Sister Duo Held For Abduction & Rape Of Minor In 2006: Delhi
The Delhi Police arrested two accused brother-sister duo of abducting and raping a minor girl, in Nangloi. ''A report for the missing of a 13-year old minor was lodged by her father in Nangloi Police Station in 2006." Accused identified as Joginder and Kamlesh kidnapped the victim and were absconding since then. In 2011, the Tiz Hazari court declared the duo proclaimed offenders. 11 Year Old Was Sexually Assaulted In Pune, Probe Underway
In Pune, a minor was sexually assaulted in school premises, confirmed police on March 24. As per PTI, the girl was allegedly assaulted by an unidentified man, in a toilet and narrated the incident to her friend. Later the school authority informed about the incident to the victim's parents. The Shivajinagar Police registered a case under 376 (rape) and provisions of the POCSO Act, and launched an investigation.

Minor Girl Sexually Assaulted By Father, Brother, Grandfather & Uncle: Pune
A 11-year-old girl from Pune was allegedly sexually molested by her brother, father, grandfather and a distant uncle. "The girl's elder brother started sexually assaulting her around November 2020. Her grandfather and distant uncle used to touch her inappropriately," stated the police. Reportedly, the police have registered a case under relevant sections and further investigation is underway.

7-Yr-Old Falls In 20 Feet Borewell, Rescue Underway: MP
In Madhya Pradesh, Damoh district, a seven-year-old boy named Priyansh fell into a borewell, while he was going to the farm with his family, on February 27. As per ANI, the borewell was 15-20 feet in depth and 7 inches in dimension. SDM Abhishek Thakur along with the rescue team, reached the spot and started the operation with JCB digging. This is the second such case reported in MP.

HIV Positive Man Arrested For Raping Minor Stepdaughter: Mumbai
Another incident of rape was reported in South Mumbai. A 45-year-old allegedly raped his 14-year-old stepdaughter, and has been arrested. As reports, the accused was HIV positive and has been booked under relevant sections of the IPC. Notably, with the help of neighbor, the victim shared the crime and a complaint was registered. Although the incident was reported on February 7, it came in light on February 11.

14 Year Old Boy Arrested For Sexually Abusing 4 Year Old Girl In Tamil Nadu
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested for sexually abusing a four-year-old girl, in Tamil Nadu's Tuticorin district. The accused carried the girl to his house under the pretext of playing with her. The incident came to light when she cried in pain when she was given a bath. She was taken to the hospital, where the doctors confirmed she was raped. The police have lodged a complaint under relevant sections.
