Three Men Drown In Chuna Dhari Waterfall In UP's Mirzapur; Place Closed For Tourists

In Uttar Pradesh's Mirzapur, three men drowned in Chuna Dhari waterfall, while on a picnic, on July 10. Following the incident, the District Magistrate immediately close sthe waterfall for tourists. Reportedly, they slipped while taking a bath in the waterfall, and drowned. Reportedly, after four hours of struggle, their bodies were retrieved by local divers. The deceased did not know how to swim, reported PTI.

On October 29, a disturbing photograph of a 'principal' holding a little boy from his legs and dangling him from the top floor of the school went viral on social media. This eventually led to the arrest of the headmaster from a school in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. "My son is very mischievous...what the teacher did was wrong but...we don't have any problem,'' said the boy's father.
