Woman Dies After Being Stuck In Lift For 3 Days

In a shocking incident, Olga Leontyeva, a postwoman from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, was found dead inside a lift after being trapped for three-days with no one coming to rescue her. Getting into the details, the woman was stuck in a lift, on the top floor of a nine-storeyed building and screamed for help, which unfortunately went unheard. Her family declared her missing on July 24, when she didn't return from work.

Army Jawan Goes Missing In Jammu & Kashmir, Search Underway

In Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam region, an army jawan goes missing. An army Jawan was reported missing from Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, said official on July 30. Javaid Ahmad Wani, a resident of Achathal area of Kulgam district, had gone missing. Wani, posted in Ladakh region, was on leave. His car was found in Paranhall later last evening and reports claimed that blood was found from his car.

Shekar Suman Meets Bihar CM, Demands CBI Probe For MIssing Brother-In-Law

TV Actor Shekhar Suman complained about his missing brother-in-law and met with the Bihar CM and demanded a CBI probe. Notably, Suman's brother-in-law Dr Sanjay Kumar is allegedly missing for the past 22 days, and have not received any extortion call. Concerned about the situation, Shekhar Suman met Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and demanded a CBI probe, saying the Patna Police is also clueless about his whereabouts.

BJP Leader Discovered Hanging From Tree In J&K's Kathua

A missing Bharatiya Janata Party politician was discovered hanging from a tree in Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir's Hiranagar Town on August 23. A Special Investigation Team has been established to look into the precise cause of the death, though. The blood-stained body was sent to a Sub District Hospital in Hiranagar for an autopsy. Israeli Trekker Who Went Missing, Found

Senior disaster management confirmed a missing report of an Israeli trekker Ran at Hampta Pass Trek between Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts, Himachal Pradesh. However, in 24 hours June 13, the disaster Management Director Sudesh Mokhta said, the trekker has been traced and he is staying in a camp, Kullu.  Notably, two Israeli trekkers went missing on June 12 night, while one Yuvan Cohan came back, Ran was missing until afternoon.

Two Army Jawans Stationed In Arunachal Pradesh On India-China Border Reported Missing

For the past 14 days, two Army jawans from the 7th Garhwal Rifles have been missing along the India-China border in Arunachal Pradesh. Harendra Negi and Prakash Singh Rana were identified as the missing soldiers. On June 9, a phone call informed that both men had died in the river. Poonam, Negi's wife, expressed her disbelief that both soldiers went near the river and requested an explanation from the army.

Chinese Army Hands Over Arunachal Teen To Indian Army: Law Minister

The missing teenager from Arunachal Pardesh has been handed over to Indian Army by People's Liberation Army of China, confirmed India's law minister Kiren Rijiju on January 27. Miram Taron (19), resident of Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district had gone missing on January 18, following which he was traced, and has now been now handed over to Indian Army. Rijiju in a tweet said that due procedures are being followed.

Cop Booked After 578 Wine Cartons Went Missing From Police station: UP

Following the order of a superintendent of Police in Uttar Pradesh's Kairana Police Station, a woman Head Constable Taresh Sharma, was booked for the breach of trust by a public servant under section 409, said officials on December 4. Reportedly, 578 cartons of wine were reported missing under the jurisdiction of the constable. The incident came to light after she was transferred and another incumbent took over her jurisdiction.

Landslide In China's Sichuan Claims 2 Lives; 12 Missing

Following a landslide in China's Sichuan Province, at least two people lost their lives and 12 people were reported missing on September 26. According to media reports, the landslide was caused by heavy rains in the region. Local earthquake disaster headquarters announced a level two emergency response. However, the Sichuan authorities also launched a search and rescue operation to trace the missing persons.
