The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism has announced that the following UFC events scheduled for January 16, 20 and 23 will allow "a limited number of spectators". UFC 257: Michael Chandler To Debut Against Dan Hooker
Former three-time Bellator MMA champion Michael Chandler is set to debut at UFC 257 in the co-main event against sixth-ranked Dan Hooker. Scheduled for January 23 in Abu Dhabi, the fight would take place in the lightweight division (66-70 kg). Chandler, designated among Bellator's most decorated fighter, had signed with UFC in 2020. Meanwhile, Hooker will be eying for a comeback from June 2020 defeat to Dustin Poirier.

Yoel Romero Ends UFC Contract With 3 Official Fights Remaining
MMA veteran Yoel Romero has been released from the UFC after he ended his seven-year-long contract, confirmed his manager Malki Kawa on December 4. Kawa told ESPN that Romero still had three fights left in his contract and the reason for his exit had been kept untold. However, the manager also informed that talks were underway to let Romero aka 'Soldier of God' to do other promotions.

UFC Lightweight Champion 'The Eagle' Khabib Nurmagomedov has revealed his plans to push MMA into the Olympics at a press conference in Uzbekistan. Targeting the 2028 Olympics, Khabib said, "The inclusion of MMA in the Olympics is one of my main tasks for the next couple of years, we are already working in this direction." However, Khabib has also shown concern about the sport's brutality, which might keep MMA out.

Former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has finally secured a pay-per-view event as he will be facing Charles Oliveira at UFC 256 on December 12 in Las Vegas. Talking to ESPN's Brett Okamoto, UFC President Dana White said that Ferguson had been added to the final pay-per-view of 2020 after his wish to fight again this year. UFC: Alexander Overeem booked To Fight Against Alexander Volkov in 2021
UFC heavyweights fighter Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov will clash at a headliner on February 6, 2021. The fight is likely to air on ESPN, will mainly event the UFC Fight Night on a super bowl weekend while the venue waits to be decided, said President Dana White.
