Odisha Govt Announces 4G Internet Connection In 2,800 Villages

The Odisha Government announced 4G-Internet connectivity for nearly 2,800 villages soon. According to the official announcement on July 31, a total of 2,792 villages will be brought under the 4G network of the country as part of the Centre's digital inclusion policy worth Rs 26.316 crores, including 465 villages in the Kandhamal district, approved by Union Cabinet. Ambani's Reliance Jio Network Down For Several User In India

Reliance Jio subscribers on October 6 have complained that they faced network issues with some saying that their phone showed 'no service'. Reportedly, several others reported that their broadband connection also went down. However, according to Downdetector, the complaints spiked sharply at around 11 AM. The Jio customer support Twitter handle users said, "this is temporary & our teams are working on the same."

Route Mobile to Open Rs 600 Crore IPO from September 9; Equity Share to Cost Rs 350

On September 2, Route Mobile declared that its Initial Public Offering (IPO) worth Rs.600 crores will be open from September 9. The company stated that its one equity share might cost around Rs.350. The shares are proposed to be listed on BSE and NSE markets. J&K: 4G Internet Services to be Restored on Trial Basis in 2 Districts

The Centre, represented by Attorney General KK Venugopal informed the bench of SC, headed by Justice NV Ramana, on restoring 4G internet service after August 15, on the trial basis in two districts of Jammu and Kashmir which have low intensity of terrorist activities. Government will review the situation after two months. However, the services will remain suspended in areas near the Line of Control.
