Massive Fire Breaks Out At Chemical Plant In Mohali, 5 Injured
In Punjab's Mohali region, a massive fire broke out at a chemical factory, on September 27. According to reports, at least 5 workers were injured in the blaze, while many are feared to have faced burn injuries. Out of the injured, two have been admitted to Mohali Civil Hospital and three to nearby Civil Hospital. More than 20 fire tenders from the Mohali and Ropar districts rushed to the spot.

Punjab On High Alert After Mohali Explosion Attack, Investigation Underway
Punjab is on high alert after the recent rocket explosion outside Mohali police station, on May 10. Furthermore, the investigation of the NIA and Punjab Police in this matter also started in full swing. It is to be noted that Director General of Police (DGP) Viresh Kumar Bhawra said, "Some suspects taken into custody". The statement came after DGP Bhawra had a meeting with the State CM Bhagwant Mann.

Minor Explosion Outside Intelligence Office Is Not Terror Attack: Punjab Police
The Punjab Police refused the suspect of "terror attack" or terror angle in the minor explosion, that happened outside the intelligence office of the Punjab Police on May 9. Mohali SP Ravinder Pal Singh said, "No casualty or loss happened. Our senior officers and FSL team are investigating it". Notably, the explosion was said to be due to sky rocket-type fire and can't be ignored, but police refused terrorist-attack angle.

Chhatbir Zoo Gets Dinosaur Park, Otter House: Punjab
To inform the visitors of the prehistoric dinosaurs and the underwater life of otters, Punjab Cabinet Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu inaugurated the dinosaur park and otter house on August 14 in Chhatbir Zoo. The construction cost around Rs 5 crore and 35 lakh, respectively. ''These amazing facilities are being dedicated to the people on this Independence Day Eve,'' said field director Chhatbir Zoo, Naresh Mahajan.

Poster Rewarding Punjab CM Murderer Found In Mohali: FIR Filed
The Mohali Police has complained about anonymous individuals after a poster rewarding $1 million for killing Punjab CM Amarinder Singh was found on January 2. Reportedly, an FIR has been registered under IPC Sections 504, 506 and 120B and Punjab Prevention of Defacement Property Ordinance Act, 1997. Police have affirmed that the accused would be arrested soon. Meanwhile, an investigation underway as the police scans the CCTV footage.
