A month after being returned to his biological parents, 19-year-old Mohammad Amir travelled from Madhya Pradesh to Nagpur to celebrate his foster mother's birthday on July 12. Lost as an eight-year-old, the mentally challenged Amir could not help the police locate his family. Thus, he came under the care of Samarth Damle and his wife who kept him after their social care home shut down.
