Recently, a man shared a rather unsettling encounter with a woman at an airport when he was returning from Delhi to Pune. The man in early 20s, recounted how he stood in a line where a middle-aged woman stood behind him, humming songs and touching him inappropriately. The ordeal shared under the ‘Delhi’ subreddit with title "Molested by Woman" has now gained widespread attention, leaving users in disbelief. 

A woman registered a case against an individual for alleged molestation at Thane Railway Police. The accused was identified as Mohammad Hanif Dawood Rarani (45) from Mumbra. In an incident reported to Thane Railway police, a 34-year-old woman, employee at an Insurance company in Thane and residing in Kalyan. An unfortunate incident reported at Mumbai railway station. On August 7, a man identified as Manoj Chowdhary (32) was apprehended by the police for allegedly attempting murder and molesting a woman in the ladies' compartment. The distressing incident occurred on August 6 at 4 pm when the victim embarked on her journey from Pune to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai, aboard the Udyan Express. An investigation is underway.

In Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, a 50-year-old owner of a Madrasa has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old girl student, informed police on October 10. The two sons of the accused have also been booked after they allegedly assaulted the girl’s kin who went to complain about the matter. According to the complaint, the accused called the victim to a separate room and touched her inappropriately.

In Mumbai's Dindoshi area, a man was arrested for alleged molestation of a 13-year-old minor, confirmed police on May 29. The incident happened when the victim was alone at home and tried to molest her, when protested, the accused threatened to kill her. The victim's parents registered an FIR with Dindoshi Police, immediately.  A case has been registered under sections of the IPC, POCSO, and an investigation is underway.
