In Mumbai's Bandra region, Ghanshyam Lalchand Yadav (35) has been booked for allegedly molesting a British woman (44) at a club, confirmed police on May 6.  The official said, "When the woman went to the washroom around 11.30 pm, the 35-year-old accused molested her. She returned to her table and narrated the incident to her husband and friends". The police launched a case under IPC sections and started an investigation.

In Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal, a molestation case was registered against two people including an auto-rickshaw driver, said police on April 23. A 20-year-old woman registered the case, accusing her two co-passengers of molesting her the driver for helping them by not stopping the vehicle, despite her repeated request, following which she jumped from the auto. The incident happened on April 20 and an investigation into the matter is underway.

According to police, a religious leader was arrested for allegedly molesting a minor girl inside a Circuit House in the Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. “Till now, we have arrested two accused. A gas delivery man was arrested for molesting a minor girl at her home in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district, on February 3. According to police, the gas delivery man came when the 16-year-old girl was alone at home and attempted to molest her. The minor screamed for help, which alerted neighbors, who rescued the girl and thrashed the accused. The complaint is lodged and an investigation is underway.

In Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, a case of molestation was registered against two school teachers for molesting a high school girl student, said police officials on December 7. ''The police were informed that a girl had gone to an academy for practicals,'' Abhishek Yadav Senior Superintendent of Police told to ANI. Reportedly, five teams, including a team from the crime branch, have been constituted to arrest both the accused.
