Fire Breaks Out At 3-Storey Building In UP’s Moradabad; 5 Dead, 7 Injured
A fire broke out in a multi-storey building at Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, killing five persons and leaving seven others injured. Following the incident at the said three-storey building, the injured persons have been rushed to a hospital for treatment. Reportedly, members of the same family were residing in that building. Schools, Universities Closed In UP's Moradabad On July 25, 26 Due To Kanwar Yatra
All educational institutions in Moradabad will be closed on July 25 and 26 as the Kanwar Yatra in Sawan (Shrawan) begins. Shailendra Kumar Singh, district magistrate, Moradabad said "All schools and colleges in Moradabad have been closed on Monday and Tuesday in view of the movement of Kanwariyas so that there is no disturbance in the traffic system." The 'Kanwar Yatra' is a yearly pilgrimage for worshippers of Lord Shiva.

Residents Threaten Exodus As Properties Were Sold To Muslims: UP
An entire neighbourhood in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad has threatened exodus after two properties were sold to two Muslim families. "Why do they forcefully want to come live here and spoil the atmosphere," said Gaurav Kohli, a resident. They gather at the Shiv Mandir every day as saving the temple is part of their protests. Meanwhile, the District Magistrate investigating the problem claimed a property matter to be the issue.

A self-claimed cow vigilante group on May 23 assaulted a Muslim businessman in UP’s Moradabad for allegedly killing an animal. Filing a case against the group, the police recorded a counter case against the victim with charges under act of ‘mischief by killing an animal.' While four of the attackers were arrested, two as still on run. Reportedly, the meat seller had no permit for transporting meat amid lockdown.
