Afghanistan Explosion Near Mosque Leaves 3 Injured
In an explosion in Afghanistan, at least three people were injured, confirmed sources. The explosion occurred near the Imam Abu Hanifa mosque in Afghanistan’s Faryab province on February 8. The incident took place after an explosive, placed on a parked motorcycle nearby, went off. The details of the attack are yet to be known and security personnel has reached the area to control the situation.

Explosion In Kabul Mosque Kills 20 People, 40 Severely Injured
Another massive explosion has been reported in a mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan, on August 17. The blast happened after the evening prayers killed 20 people and left over 40 injured, confirmed local media. In a tragic incident, a hand grenade was hurled at worshippers in Pul-e-Khishti Mosque, at Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul, on April 6. The hand grenade caused an explosion, which injured six worshippers. The area has been cordoned off by security forces of Taliban, and one suspect has been arrested. In a similar incident, on April 3, a hand grenade thrown at people in Kabul, injured 59 and killed one.

Fine On Petitioners Seeking Removal Of Mosque Near Temple: Mathura
A local court in Mathura hearing a plea for shifting the Shahi Idgah mosque near the Lord Krishna's Katra Keshav Dev temple imposed a fine on the petitioners’ counsel. The fine of Rs 250 was for seeking an adjournment of the proceeding. Bomb Goes Off At Shiite Mosque In Pakistan; At Least 30 Dead, Dozen Injured
A bomb blast occurred in Pakistan's Shiite Mosque at the north-western side of Peshawar, on March 4. The blast killed at least 30 worshippers and left dozen wounded, reported the police. The police further stated that it occurred when the people were present to offer their Friday prayers. The survivors were rushed to the nearest Lady Reading Hospital for treatment.

Mob At Pakistan's Punjab Province Attempts To Lynch Man Over Alleged Blasphemy
In Muzaffargarh city (Pakistan's Punjab province), an angry mob attempted to lunch a man over alleged blasphemy. The police rescued the man and transported him to an undisclosed location for his safety, reported Dawn Newspaper. The complaint claimed that the man was seen burning pages of Quran in front of a mosque Alipur Tehsil, near Jamal area. Punjab has seen a rise in mob lynching cases, reported ANI.
