Bomb Goes Off At Shiite Mosque In Pakistan; At Least 30 Dead, Dozen Injured

A bomb blast occurred in Pakistan's Shiite Mosque at the north-western side of Peshawar, on March 4. The blast killed at least 30 worshippers and left dozen wounded, reported the police. The police further stated that it occurred when the people were present to offer their Friday prayers. The survivors were rushed to the nearest Lady Reading Hospital for treatment.

Mob At Pakistan's Punjab Province Attempts To Lynch Man Over Alleged Blasphemy

In Muzaffargarh city (Pakistan's Punjab province), an angry mob attempted to lunch a man over alleged blasphemy. The police rescued the man and transported him to an undisclosed location for his safety, reported Dawn Newspaper. The complaint claimed that the man was seen burning pages of Quran in front of a mosque Alipur Tehsil, near Jamal area. Punjab has seen a rise in mob lynching cases, reported ANI.

2 Die, 15 Injured In Mosque Blast In Afghanistan's Spin Ghar District 

In a deadly blast, at least 3 people died and 15 reportedly got injured in a mosque in eastern Afghanistan's Spin Ghar district at around 1.30 PM on November 12. A resident of the area, Atal Shinwari, said, ''the explosive apparently located in the interior of the mosque.'' A Taliban official also confirmed the blast. Reportedly, Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISIS-K) took the responsibility for the attack.

In Punjab's Bhoolar village, Hindu and Sikh communities have come together in order to help Muslim families to re-build their only mosque in the area. "The village has seven Gurudwara, two temples & the only mosque, established before the partition and was almost ruined with time," said the village sarpanch Sarpanch Pala Singh. They are very happy that a mosque will be our tenth place of worship, he added.

Delhi Cops Bust Cleric For Sexually Assaulting 12-Year-Old In Mosque

Shaming the humanity again, a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in a Northeast Delhi mosque on May 30. Reacting on the incident the Delhi police on May 31 arrested the 48-year-old accused cleric Mohammed Iliyas and booked him under POCSO Act and other IPC provisions. Recording her statement , while the survivor was counselled by Delhi Commission for Women officials, the police sent the accused on 14-day judicial custody.

Jerusalem: 178 Injured In A Clash Between Israeli Police, Palestinians

Nearly 178 Palestinians and six officers were injured in a clash between Israeli police and Palestinians on May 7 at Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque. The police used rubber bullets, water cannons and grenades to contain the Palestinian youths. The incident happened in the wee hours during Ramadan season after the evening prayers. While both warring groups blamed each other, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas asked UNSC to address the issue.

200 Bed Hospital To Be Built With Mosque In Ayodhya, Reveals IICF

The Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation formed by the UP State Sunni Central Waqf Board has unveiled the design of the mosque to be built in Ayodhya.
