Why Govt Is Not Banning Alcohol But Taxi Bikes? Ask Bike Drivers
Thousands of ola, rapido and uber bike drivers questioned the recent ban on taxi bikes citing violation of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. A rapid driver said, "How govt can ban it if it is feeding more than 20k families?" He further said, "If they are really concerned about the laws and morality, why don't they impose a ban on the sale of alcohol as it can kill the consumer."

Bengaluru Traffic Police To Fine Drivers Rs 1k On Using Earphones
In Bengaluru, drivers who use headphones or earphones while driving will be fined Rs 1,000 as part of a fundamental shift in the enforcement of the Motor Vehicles Rules. While talking about the drive, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) B R Ravikanthe Gowda asserted the gadgets that divert attention while driving are restricted but only navigation devices are permitted. He contends if attention diverts, it can be life-threatening.
