Tata Motors & Maharashtra Govt Signs MoU For Vehicle Scrappage Centre

Tata Motors joined hands with the Maharashtra Government to set up a registered vehicle scrapping policy (RSVP) in the state. A company official signed the MoU, on December 17, for scrappage centre with a capacity of recycling 35,000 vehicles (end of passage & commercial) vehicles in a year. The Maharashtra Industry, Energy and Labour department will ensure legal approvals, rules and regulations of the new facility.
