BRS MPs Move Adjournment Motion In Parliament
The BRS MPs moved an adjournment motion in the ongoing parliament session, on March 28. As per sources, the BRS leaders in the house are demanding tabling and discussion over the Women's Reservation Bill. Earlier, the BRS MLC K Kavitha also held a day-long sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, demanding the Central Government to introduce the Women's, Reservation Bill. Furthermore, the BRS is planning for another campaign for same.

Lok Sabha Adjourned Until Next Day Amid Ruckus
Amid the ruckus of the opposition, the Lok Sabha proceedings has been adjourned for the day. Notably, the Congress and opposition Members of Parliament (MPs) demanded a discussion over the recent disqualification of Rahul Gandhi as Lok Sabha MP and the Adani V/S Hindenburg matter. In addition, the non BJP MPs also demanded a discussion over the recently introduced Amended Finance Bill 2023.

Union Ministers Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, RPC Singh Tender Resignation As MPs
Union ministers Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and RCP Singh resigned as the Central ministers on July 6. The decision to resign came ahead of their Rajya Sabha term completion, confirmed sources. With the resignations submitted to PM Narendra Modi, the Rajya Sabha MPs will cease their duties as Rajya Sabha Parliamentarians, from July 8. Earlier, the two leaders attended their last parliament meeting, in which were praised for their contributions.

Karnataka CM To Hold Meetings With MPs Over State Budget: Delhi
Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai is set to hold a meeting with MPs of Delhi, on February 7. During the meeting, the State CM will discuss the projects and programmes, ahead of the Budget Session, next month, in Karnataka. "I intend to discuss the State Budget, financial condition and GST", said CM. Bommai also said that he sought an appointment with top BJP leaders and will plan further.

Budget Session Draws Blueprint For Whole Year, Says PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 31, welcomed all the MP's in the budget session and said India has plenty of opportunities in the global scenario. He further spoke about the vaccination campaign of India and India's economic progress. The PM hoped that all the MP's will engage in free, constructive, and well-meaning discussions. "This budget session in a way draws the blueprint for the whole year," the PM said.

12 MPs Suspended For Creating 'Disturbance': Winter Parliament Session
A total of 12 Members of Parliament (MPs) were suspended for the rest of the Winter Parliament Session, on November 29. The suspended MPs are from Congress, Shiv Sena, CPI(M), CPI and AITC. Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu suspended the MPs for creating ruckus and "disturbing" the proceedings of the Winter Parliament Session. Reportedly, they will be suspended until December 23, the last day of the Parliament session.

Rahul Gandhi, Opposition MPs Pull Out Cycle Rally To Parliament
A hundred Opposition MPs including Congress met over breakfast on August 3 on Rahul Gandhi's invitation. The absence of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi showed Rahul's enthusiasm to assume the role of a leader of the Opposition. The interaction was followed by a surprise cycle rally to the Parliament. “This is the trailer for 2024,” Congress said later that evening, terming it a "historic day".
