Mucomycosis

The Central government on May 19 urged the states to make Mucormycosis, a notifiable disease under the Epidemic Diseases Act 1897 in India. Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal asked the states to be equipped with health facilities and follow the guidelines to screen, diagnose and manage Mucormycosis.
