Hindu Temple Vandalised In Pakistan's Karachi, Idols Of Deities Attacked

In Pakistan's Karachi, Shri Mata Mandir situated in Korangi area was vandalised and the idols of deities were attacked, on June 9. The attack created a panic across the hindus living in Karachi, particularly in the Korangi area. Reportedly, five to six masked men came in motorcycles, carried out the attack and fled the spot. A case has been lodged and further details are awaited.

BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has been booked for allegedly making an objectionable statement against prophet Mohammed while on a TV debate speaking about the Gyanvapi issue. The complaint has reportedly been filed by an NCP leader. Ex MLA PC George Arrested Over Alleged Hate Speech: Kerala

Former MLA PC George has been arrested by Kerala police in an alleged hate speech case, on May 26. Following the arrest, he was shifted from Kochi to Trivandrum, and will be produced before a court. MP HC Issues Notices To Centre, State Govt In Bhojshala Monument Dispute

Madhya Pradesh High Court issued notices to the Centre, state government, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), and other parties over the Bhojshala monument dispute on May 10. The ASI-protected Bhojshala is a Hindu temple dedicated to Waghdevi (Saraswati). The Muslim community refers to it as the Kamal Maula Mosque. Notices were issued in response to two PILs submitted by Hindu Front for Justice and other Hindu community members.

Muslim Family Donates 2.5 crore Worth Land For Temple Construction: Bihar

A Muslim family in Bihar have donated land worth Rs 2.5 crore for Viratt Ramayan Mandir, construction. Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan, a businessman from East Champaran said," Majority of the land is owned by our family. I think it is my responsibility to do something for the construction of the temple." The temple is being built on 125 acres land, of which the family gave registry of 23 kattha land.

Karnataka Hijab Row Verdict To Be Pronounced On March 15

The Karnataka HC is all set to pronounce its judgement on the controversial Hijab row issue, on March 15. The matter started in January, condemning the orders of Udupi Pre University, which banned entry with hijab or religious attire, besides uniform. The matter was taken to the HC, which is to announce the verdict. Until now, the court issued interim order, restricting students from wearing hijab until matter resolves.
