Mob Lynched 56 Year Old Man Suspecting He's Carrying Beef: Bihar

In a horrific incident, a 56-year-old man was lynched amid suspicion of carrying beef. The incident occurred on March 9, in Bihar's Siwan district. The victim was identified as Naseem Qureshi, a resident of Hasanpur village. He was going to meet someone with his nephew, when a mob allegedly intercepted them at Jogia village and thrashed Nazeem Qureshi with wooden sticks. Police arrested three people and launched investigation.

Police Arrest Muslim Man For Dressing As Hindu Deity At Wedding: Karnataka

A man who dressed up as a Hindu deity during a Muslim wedding ceremony has been arrested by Karnataka police, for hurting religious sentiments. The man, identified as Umarullal Bashith, had dressed up like Hindu deity Koragajja at his wedding on January 6, 2022. Basith had later apologized in a video. Notably, the man was arrested at the Cochin International Airport in Kerala while he was attempting to flee abroad.
