Maha Govt Imposes Night Curfew After New COVID Strain Spotted In UK

In a precautionary move, the Maharashtra Government has decided to impose a night curfew from December 22 to January 5. To be imposed in all major cities of the state from 11 PM-6 AM, the decision was taken after a new Covid-19 strain has been discovered in the UK. While allowing other foreign travellers for home quarantine, the government has mandated a 14-day institutional quarantine for travellers from West Asian countries.
