Alt News Co-founder Mohammad Zubair Charged For Revealing Identity Of Viral School Slap Video
UP Police registered an FIR against Alt News Cofounder and Fact Checker Mohammad Zubair. As per the registered case, on August 28, Zubair was charged for disclosing the identity of the minor who was slapped in the Muzaffarnagar school on video that went viral on social media. The FIR names Mohammad Zubair as the accused for revealing the identity of the minor in the sensitive case.

Truck Rams Into Motorcycle, Kills 4 & Leaves 2 Injured In UP
In Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, a tragic accident killed four people; Vipin Kumar (30), his wife Meenu (28), Sachin (22) and Nitin Kumar (23), and left two with severe injuries. On June 8, a speeding truck rammed into the motorcycles of the six people, while they were near the Panipat-Khatima highway in Jagahedi village. The SHO Mukesh Kumar Solanki registered a case against the truck driver, who abandoned his truck and fled.

UP Couple Murdered Amid Old Rivalry, Police Launches Investigation
In Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar region, Harpal Saini (50) and his wife Koshal (48) were allegedly murdered, confirmed by police on April 27. Life Imprisonment Awarded To Accused In Dalit Factory Worker Murder Case: UP
A special court in Muzaffarnagar trying the murder case of a Dalit worker, sentenced the accused to a lifetime of imprisonment, on April 15. The accused Popin Kumar, allegedly murdered his factory worker Sonu, for allegedly having an affair with his sister. Reportedly, Sonu's body was found in Ghasipura village. Furthermore, a fine of Rs 20,000 was also imposed on Kumar by Special Judge Jamshed Ali.

Woman Brutally Gang-Raped In Muzaffarnagar, 10 Arrested
In Muzaffarnagar (UP), a woman was allegedly raped in front of her husband by ten people. The couple were returning home, when the accused abducted them, tied husband to a tree and raped the wife. Survivor's family registered a case, following which police arrested all the accused including two minors. Furthermore, woman has been sent for medical examination, and will be produced before magistrate to record her statement soon.

2 Men Rape Minor & Upload Footage On Internet: UP
In a shocking incident, two men, Shubham and Ashish reportedly gang-raped a 17-year-old girl on the pretext of offering her fruit at a garden of guava trees in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, said police on September 20. Reportedly, both the accused did the crime on September 19 and also recorded the video of the incident to share on social media. However, the police are yet to nab both the accused.

Muzaffarnagar Police Exonerates Brothers Charged Against Love Jihad
Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar police have withdrawn charges against two brothers - Nadeem and Salman - who were previously charged under contentious 'Love Jihad' law. The brothers were accused of unlawfully forcing a woman to change her religion, following which an FIR was filed against them in Mansurpur police station. However, SHO Dharmendra Pal has informed the police have given the duo a clean chit due to the absence of evidence.
