My Pads

With sanitary napkins deemed as a luxury more than necessity, women in rural India still suffer through the lack of proper amenities and hygiene during the menstrual cycle. Goonj, an NGO under its Rahat initiative are giving out 'My Pads', a sanitary kit provided with clothes, food and basic amenities. They also give lectures on making cloth pads at home and the importance of menstrual health and hygiene.
