Puducherry: N Rangasamy Sworn In As Chief Minister For Fourth Time
All India NR Congress founder N Rangasamy on May 7 took oath as Puducherry Chief Minister at Raj Nivas in the presence of Lieutenant governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. At the recent concluded polls, while the AINRC won 10 seats, it's ally, BJP won six of the nine seats it contested. Interestingly as independents won record six seats, the Congress settled with just two and AIADMK failed to open mark.

Ahead of the Puducherry assembly elections slated for April 6, the BJP, AIADMK and regional political party All India N.R Congress (AINRC) have inked a seat-sharing agreement. Out of the total 30 seats, NRC will contest 16 seats whereas BJP and AIADMK got 14 seats to contest.
