Mamata's Petition Against Suvendu's Win In Nandigram Deferred To June 24
The Calcutta High Court has deferred the petition to June 24, filed by the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee against the BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. In the petition, Banerjee challenged Adhikari's Nandigram win against her in the 2021 Bengal assembly elections. However, after the case was presented before the court, Adhikari requested to postpone the hearing to next week.

Bengal CM Mamata Says To Approach EC Over 'Jai Shri Ram' Slogans
Agitated Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has warned to write to the Election Commission after 'Jai Shri Ram' chants were made at her Nandigram rally on March 30. Besides, Mamata again resorted to her 'outsiders' rant and said that "goons" from UP and Bihar are keeping voters away from polling booths. TMC Defers Manifesto Release Following Attack On CM Mamata
The Trinamool Congress has deferred from releasing its manifesto for upcoming elections following the attack on West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on March 10. The manifesto, originally scheduled to be released on March 11 at CM Banerjee's residence, will now be made public only after she "gets well and is back home". WB Polls: Mamata Takes Nandigram Seat; Likely To Face Rebel Suvendu
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on March 5 announced to contest the upcoming assembly elections from Nandigram. CM Mamata will vacate her own Bhowanipura seat, which will now be filled in by her Cabinet Minister Sovandeb Chattopadhyay.
