Narada Case: Madan Mitra, Sovon Chatterjee Admitted To Hospital
TMC MLA Madan Mitra and former Kolkata mayor Sovon Chatterjee were rushed to SSKM hospital on May 18 due to breathlessness and both of them are currently on oxygen support. Reportedly, they are among the four political leaders convicted in Narada bribery sting case and are currently in judicial custody. While three of the four convicts were taken to hospital, the third one is State Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee.

CM Mamata Banerjee Requests For Her Arrest After CBI Detains Four TMC Leaders
The CBI on May 17 detained four TMC leader, including one former leader in connection with the Narada sting case. The arrested includes state ministers Firhad Hakim, Subrata Mukherjee, TMC MLA Madan Mitra and former Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee. Earlier, the West Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankhar had approved the arrests. Reacting to the detention, CM Mamata Banerjee asked the agency to arrest her as well.
