Govt Plans To Remove Toll Plazas At National Highways
The Central Government is planning to remove all the toll plazas from the National Highways. The Steps are being taken in order to reduce traffic congestion on the highways. In addition, the Central Government will install high-quality cameras on entry-exit points of plazas, to read number plates, reducing human intervention. The camera will read number plates, helping reduction of taxes, directly from the owner's bank accounts.

Central Govt To Expand NH To 2 Lakh Kms In Next 3 Years, Nitin Gadkari
The Union Road and Building Minister Nitin Gadkari shared the Cengtral Government's plan to expand National Highways, in India. On June 17, during the 222nd mid-term council meeting of the Indian National Congress (INC) Gadkari said, the BJP is planning to expand NH to 2 lakh kms, from current 1.47 lakh Kms, till 2025. The development will be part of PM Narendra Modi's vision to make India a 5-trillion-economy nation.

Bitumen Usage For National Highway Will Soon Be Mandatory: Nitin Gadkari
